It’s always a pleasure to see a collection of work from Alan Britt’s pen. In this, his latest book of poems, Dream Highway, true lovers of poetry will recognize his touch. I took the journey visiting both old and new poems that have graced the pages from magazines, and fine periodicals where they first found homes. I joined the endless tango through the pages and drank Chardonnay in Brooklyn! I spotted John Donne in the old warehouse district! And of course, I am fantasizing the journey as a starting point, but that’s the beauty of this new and wonderful book! Every page has its own magic from the hand of a true master.
