Wow, I really dug the Ghost World idea, even though I'm not obsessed with it anymore. Some great lines, "black coffee tastes like angry crayons"
Imperdonable no haber leído Ghost World, pero a las primeras 10 páginas ya se ve cristalina la jugada. Desde luego, el concepto de mostrar la "anormalidad" individual más allá de tener super poderes, habilidades o maldiciones mágicas o ser un robot del espacio era interesante de explorar. Pero apenas 30 páginas dan para lo que dan y entiendo que Patton Oswalt tire de homenaje y ya.
This is a perfect example of why there needs to be a .5 star system because this book is a strong 3.5/5.Who would have thought that Doug’s annoying friend from King of Queens had such prowess and talent as a comic book author?! I’m so pleasantly surprised I don’t even know where to begin. It’s incredible what Jeff Lemire has been able to accomplish with Black Hammer in such a short period of time. It’s clear now that he isn’t satisfied with mere world building — Jeff is out to build a multiverse...
The story was neat but the storytelling was a bit disorienting.
Wasnt expecting this..especially as Lemire doesnt take the writing duties
This reminded me of Ghost World, though I’d forgotten the name till that quote at the end, which is to say it wasn’t for me.
