The origin story is good, the Spidey story is a bit much, but it has its moments...bit oh God, the middle. Just so many words, sloppy editing (why should we reference things we don't want to look up??), retcons, needless complications, tree marriages...no thank you.
This was insane! Thank you Bri <3
Siempre es bueno saber la historia de una de las parejas más importantes de Marvel. Aunque sentí que en la segunda parte iba algo lento, no me dejó de entretener. El arte de la primera parte era muy bonita, y personalmente la última historia fue mi favorita.
Short a sweet. This is what I would consider a brief look at the start of their relationship. Definitely gets the point across, but I wish it were thicker. Definitely worth read though for any Marvel (Vision and Scarlet Witch particularly) fan.
The modern origin of the Vision, the wedding of Wanda and Vision, and a wacky team up with Spider-Man... this collection is definitely trying to entice views of "Wandavision" to make the jump to comics. Wanda and Vision's wedding is just pure 70's bonkers involving Immortus, Dormammu, and the "celestial madonna." The Spider-Man team up is fun and introduces a society of androids who probably don't appear ever again but might. The retelling of Vision's origin in a modern fashion is actually the m...
My son and I have read several books in this series and this was by far our least favorite. The chosen comics are largely part of a complicated web that jumps around and leaves you confused without context. And what you could follow along with was just not that entertaining. The biggest part that brought it down was the "giant size" comic (2nd story in the collection), and our favorite was the first story.
First issue was great. Second storyline was long and confusing bluster. Third story was a skim - robot Mark Twain and other literary greats (what?). These marvel-verse collections are usually pretty random and mildly interesting to great but this collection was unnecessary.
The first story on the origin of Vision is just great. The following are old tales that you either love or hate. Amazes me how much details and exposition was squeezed into these old tales.
wanda vision And spider man fighting together me thinks thats insane
This volume collects three stories about the famous Marvel couple:1. Avengers Origins: Vision (2011) written by Kyle Higgins and Alec Siegel, art by Stephane Perger--Ultron-5 builds an unnamed android to kill his enemies, the Avengers. By carefully controlling what information the android receives, Ultron assumes that he has built the perfect weapon to destroy the main obstacle in his way. Things don't turn out according to his plan when the android sees how the Avengers fight for each other and...
The issue of Giant-Size Avengers where Wanda and Vision get married that is included in this book is perhaps the most confusing comic I have ever read. I had no idea what was going on! All that stuff with Mantis and Moondragon was gibberish to me.
This is a compiliation of stories that tie Vision and Wanda together. They really have nothing to do with one another and contradict each other, at times. The first is Avengers origins: Vision from 2011. This contains great, modern art and is the origin story as we see it again in the Ultron MCU movie, essentially. Ultron is depicted in a sharp and almost abstract style. Ultron is a bit simple, as a character, and his plan to use Vision as an assassin is as well. It is interesting that the whole
All the issues in this comic were phenomenal, but the giant size avenger for which it took me way too long to understand what was going on, but that comes with it being the fourth issue i guess. The Spider-Man team ups were so much fun, and the Vision Origin was beautifully illustrated and a very nice take on Vision's creation.
This is a cool take on some of the lore surrounding Wanda and Vision. It was nice to see the different takes on how Vision came about, and I loved the baddies that threatened the members of the Avengers.
Ehhhhh I didn’t enjoy this, lmao. I was hoping for context on Wanda and Vision’s modern relationship in marvel comics, but there’s just a bunch of goofy old junk. Definitely didn’t give me the context I was hoping for.
Not my favorite wanda comic but still love her so it was worth the read
Art work was ten times better in this Graphic novel!!!! The women bodies designs were much, much better than previous designs. Now if only we could get a bit more diverse with our superhero’s that would be wonderful!
I was expecting more of Wanda, or more about both of them. But it's only has stories about Vision
