The bright characters will draw children in to help them notice the colours and shapes around them and associate with different personalities. When they next see a rainbow, they will better understand it's significance.
The rainbow has been used by the LGBTQ community and NHS during COVID19, as a sign of positive difference and promoting equality and inclusion. The rainbow is a powerful symbol to demonstrate valuing everyone's unique contribution.
Valuing our differences builds strong teams and communities. Teaching children from an early age about celebrating differences and our unique contributions is essential learning to create harmony. Adults will be reminded of this too as we share the journey of the story.
The rainbow is a symbol of hope for tomorrow.
