Again, Ana keeps me glued. I liked this one best though, Liv and Sam were always my fave and it felt good to understand the reason behind their breakup. I like the way Liv found herself and yes it's a cliché love story but unique in its own rights.
Yup, guess I’m a sucker for romcoms after all, but oh man I enjoyed this book way too much! Everything is a little too exaggerated and it seemed like everyone of the group has a sixpack and is somehow rich but oh man I loved this book, I had to laugh out loud a couple of times. Olivia is hilarious and Sammy ? Geez I love him. I loved the Asian background and how I could see a lot of parallels between their families and mine. Still can’t decide on how many stars I wanna rate it I was in a mood fo...
"You didn't ruin my life. You ruined me for other women."If We Were Perfect is LIVE!! 🎉 Sammy and Olivia's story is finally here, and I can't for you guys to read it! ✔️ Roommates ✔️ Second chance romance✔️ Asian MCs✔️ Steam, sass, and all the feels 🔥This is the fourth and final book in the If Love series. It's been a wild ride, and I'm a little sad to say goodbye to the Shanghai crew, but I have loved every single minute and want to thank everyone who's been (or will go on 😉) the group's advent...
I only have love for this author. And this series. And Olivia and Sammy's story was pending all through this and finally it's here. Now I will just wait till this author brings something new I can fangirl over.
If We Were Perfect is my new favorite Ana Huang book.I have been looking forward to Sammy and Olivia’s story since they were introduced in If We Ever Meet Again and it was well worth the wait.Sammy and Olivia met in Shanghai in a study abroad program. They were young adults that fell hard and fast for one another the love so deep they stayed together once they were back in the States. From the previous books you get an outside view of their connection and the love they share then it all falls ap...
This was SO cute and SO angsty. I enjoyed this a lot more than I was expecting to! Ana Huang's writing and character work has improved a lot over the course of this series. Olivia felt a lot more fleshed out - and perhaps it's because I relate to her a bit more than Farrah.... There was so much TENSION in this between her and Sammy (and boy did this get...steamy). Watching them go from being head over heels with each other (in the earlier books) to hating each other to being reluctant roommates
Such a good ending for Sammy and Olivia I fell in love with Sammy and a Olivia during the first book in the series. Wheh I read book two and heard that they'd broken up shortly after returning to new York from their study abroad program, I was shocked. My heart really broke for these two. A lot of their own insecurities and outside pressure led them to breaking up the first time. The pair were young and weren't strong enough to withstand everything that life wanted to throw at them.I love how the...
This book surprised me. I went in expecting nothing but it totally blew my mind. The writing was refreshing and emotional. The humor and romance really did it for me, so funny and sweet. I like that it took lots of time, effort, and conversations for them to eventually reconcile. The banter was great and I like the characters when they were together and as individuals. It had been a while since I got to read such a solid book, this novel nailed the second-chance trope, I'm glad that I read it, I...
I love a second chance at love, those make the most amazing romance novels, I loved the connection Olivia and Sammy have its so adorable. I felt that towards the end and even when they finally reignited their love everything was just so delayed, and towards the end everything was so rushed, there was so much drama between Olivia and her mom and sister and Sammy had his own little drama, but I didn't get enough from Olivias story, everything was just a little rushed, this author does that a lot b...
this was such a quick and fun book i read it in a day. i loved sammy and olivia they really confirmed that second chance romance is one of the best tropes to me because it almost never disappoints.the pacing could've been better, and i thought the ending was kinda rushed because we suddenly got like three huge time skips in the span of the last three chapters, but otherwise i really enjoyed reading this sammy and olivia's scenes were ADORABLE (and hot). ana huang has given me 3 consecutive easy
Two exes, one house. What could go wrong? This second chance romance was engaging, heartfelt, with amazing main and secondary characters, and great descriptions of the story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
3.5 stars! This book was cute I’m not going to lie I didn’t really think about what I would rate the book as I read it but the ending kind of brought it down for me a little bit just because I felt like it really dragged. I also felt like even though the book was really cute and it was a second chance romance which I really love, it just had a lot of back-and-forth which I felt was unnecessary at times. Like right when one person wanted to get with the other there was some kind of issue and then...
You know I have to say… the heartache this one brought to me…. Jesus. The nightmare scene was soo?? This book had so many tropes, ex lovers, roommates, taking care of each other drunk & sick, second chance, secret relationship??? It was just so good but Blake & Farrah remain my favourite of this series, I mean!!! Come on! They’re the whole reason of this series
Didn't hate it but didn't love it. Olivia was my least favourite of the girls tbh. I know this is the last book in the series but I kind of wanted one for Courtney. I know they all ended with their HEA but the way she was brought up in the previous book made me want to know her backstory.
NOOO the series is done. i really loved this series because it is just so funny and sad at the same time. it makes me feel nostalgic for something ive never had. oh well.............still have about 70 years to fix that.
I felt like this couple's problems were actually realistic because it's about mistakes they make in their relationship and they know that it was a mistake and works on being better in the relationship.
Those last few chapters were the cutest shit ever. I love this crew so much.
