The prison Doctor. Read in 2 days was really good. Just finished reading the prison Doctor women inside. Was really good.
Prison doctor women inside was addictive couldn't put it down
I liked both of these books. Definitely preferred the first book to the women’s prison one. The women’s one was a bit vague and less exciting, so a harder read.
The second book in the Prison Doctor's series contains more heartbreaking stories about the women the author has treated in prison. It struck me how often their hardship is a direct result from physical and psychological abuse by men early on in life. It's heartwarming to read how the author's non judgmental attitude and care really helps some of these women to grow stronger and to heal, not just physically, but more importantly, to heal on the inside.
This was experienced via Audio. It was just as good as book one but found this to be more in depth with the plight of prisoners in a women’s prison. It was also nice to hear about Dr Browns challengers of her own becoming a General Practitioner as a female. It has all the previous information with the challenges the women faced and the relationships Dr Brown made between her patients in prison. What I found most admirable was to see each inmate as an individual despite the crimes they’d commited...
