I just finished reading this collection and I'm still not quite certain how to feel about some of the stories. Unsettling is one word that comes to mind. They get in your head and leave you unsure about what is happening in front of your eyes. So....pretty damn successful as a psychological horror collection. All of the stories veer off what appears to be their expected path to morph into something dark and unusual. These stories will stick with you after you close the pages. Haunting you in a way. They’re unique, emotional, and vivid. I’m a huge horror fan, and some of these definitely sent chills down my spine. There were plenty of twists that made the ending of each story hard to predict.
