ConciseA mix mixture of ministry principles, how to make a pitch and writing tips. I love the idea of a book as business card. By writing a vision paper provides a roadmap for ministry and setting up protection from future dissension from others or oneself. The process reminded me of the Ministry Vision - Philosophy of Ministry paper I used to require in my university courses.
Helpful and EncouragingRalph Moore has a proven track record of mentoring, pastoring, multiplying disciples and churches, and befriending people in need. In this book he says that he would have done better if he would have had this tool and would have had his own book before he started the first church. Ralph has written the book I wish I would have had 35 years ago when I walked down the road of starting a church, actually several churches. Ralph lays out a plan which crystallizes the process of starting churches. It is simple and yet comprehensive. I can’t recommend this book enough because starting a church is difficult enough given all of the resistances, why making it harder than it has to be.
