If you ask me, the whole powerful panoply is of a spiritual and physical plague subsuming ALL the characters and even ALL the readers! It certainly did me! Worth reading for many aspects, particularly the overwhelming sight of Zviv’s church spire across this city.“Some believe this plague is a punishment.”The detailed review of this book posted elsewhere under my name is too long or impractical to post here.Above is one of my observations at the time of the review.
