This book was designed to be used as a class manual. It covers all essential key components necessary for a complete Reiki I class. It also includes additional information not found in other Reiki books, such as how to prepare to give a session by centering and grounding, how to create the safe space necessary for the session, and the importance of releasing energetic connections. We have also included 68 original drawings showing the different hand positions including self treatment, treating of others and chair sessions.

New master Teachers who would love to teach and may not have the desire, knowledge or experience, in the beginning, to write their own material will feel confident using this manual to teach their first class.

This manual was created out of our love for Reiki. We bring it to you now to answer the requests of our many Master Teachers who were unable to find, in the marketplace, anything to compare with what we used in class.

It is our hope that this manual will expand the benefits of Reiki through the world, and we are honored that you will be learning and teaching from these pages.
