A great add on to Book Two of the animated series. A small side quest that was fun and entertaining.
I have to be honest; when I heard about the premise of this comic, I immediately had low expectations. The last Avatar comic, Imbalance, was enjoyable but largely inconsequential. I had hoped that future comics would take more risks and/or explore facets of the universe that remain shrouded in mystery. Book #1 for 2021Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favorite show of all time. So when I heard about a solo comic centered mostly on Katara during the events of the show, I couldn’t pass it up.I ended up really enjoying this graphic novel. And even though it was a lot shorter than I expected it to be, I still felt the journey Katara went through joining that band of pirates to get back to the gang added a little something to her character overall. ✯ [4/5] ✯I just love the feelings the Avatar Comics brings to me. I miss new episodes of this show everyday, but with this comics I have more, and I just feel my heart warm when I read them. So yeah, every fan of this show should read the comics!

Katara is by far my absolute favorite character and I loved getting to see her front and center for this entire comic. Not to mention the illustrations are stunning!
