Interesting developments in this one and some packed action. The art has improved a whole bunch. Only two more issues until it ends. I wonder what would that look like.
Probably enjoyed this issue the most but still not amazing
Holy crap that just got crazy. And finally, next issue, we'll learn the witch's story! You know, if this pandemic ever ends and we get new comics again.
Dani's artwork is great storytelling. Reminds a lot of the art in history of violence. Good story and it's gonna be hard to wait for next issue.
El and Octavia have a great friendship.... I am slightly jealous. I like where this story is going, I don't want it to end!
Things are really picking up now. Edge of your seat stuff. I love the art! And Machado's storytelling is wonderfully weird. I'm listening to a collection of her short stories as well atm and I'm really digging her style.4 stars
Some of the best imagery so far.
Uma grande cena de ação que fez a nota geral subir com os leitores, mas eu gosto mais do desenvolvimento psicológico do que porradaria. E me pareceu uma transição das 3 primeiras pra seja lá o que está por vir.
love their friendship
I think I've enjoyed this issue the most of the series so far! The art has hugely grown on me and it just fits so well with the feel of the story. I like the two main characters and there has been more background given on Shudder-to-Think. I'm definitely looking forward to issue #5!
This series in the Hill House range has been hit or miss for me because it jumps about too much, but this followed directly on the events of the previous issue, created a stronger connection between our leads, and showed we might get some answers. Next issue please!
Aunque sigo lidiando con el tamaño de la letra (y con la inconveniencia de estar esperando a que salga el siguiente número), cada vez me gusta más el arte; y en esta ocasión el acomodo de las viñetas es maravilloso.
This comic series really caught me by surprise. It continues to have great pacing, great writing, great explanation. The artwork is unique. It's colorful while also dark & mysterious. The atmosphere has the same time but is never always the same; It evolves while keeping the point of it's genre valid. The secret & the cliff hanger in this issue are very captivating. I actually thought to myself "Ah no!, C'mon!" at the thought of having to wait for the next issue to be released.
This issue opens with a little homage to friendship. It was nice to see the girls close again, as I think their bond will be a driving force throughout the series. As El and Octavia are brainstorming about what is going on in their city, Pearl starts barking. She alerts them to a swarm of skinless people just outside of the house. I enjoy the art of the skinless people. The eyes don’t look overly complicated, yet they seem to pop, and the art style used makes the muscles look oddly realistic.The...
