Along the way, Adam finds his first true love and has very successful football and baseball seasons. His overriding concern is the care and rehabilitation of his brother’s spinal injury. The reader will enjoy the boys’ humor, feel for them in their moments of sadness and despair, and appreciate their courage and unfaltering brotherly bond.
