I ordered the team up variant cover version, this book was beautifully drawn, lots of exciting action and combat visuals. Dynamic and interesting characters. Post Apocalyptic has been done, but not like this. The setting and the care in which the aftermath was portrayed left me invested in the heroes plight and wanting to see and read more!
Very few minor flaws in the script do not bring down the story or art in this very well-paced and expertly executed story. Easily one of the top 5 comics of the past year, I'm looking forward to Rekt Planet.
I'm would've been happy to let "Uncle Ethan" work on this book for a few more years until it turned into the The Lord of the Rings of comic books, but I'm not sure the market would bear it, and lord knows the comics environment is needlessly charged these days, so there were "reasons" to get this out sooner. As such, this is a three part comic book which serves really to introduce a story yet to come. Some call it a "cliffhanger" but it feels more like prologue. Still, I loved it. The art is jus...
Much better than for example saga or any of those shitty sjw comics. Vaughan can go fuck himself with kelly sue decunt and brie larson
Beautiful art and an engaging story has left me wanting more. This is my first experience of Ethan Van Sciver's Cyberfrog and I am very happy I ordered a copy. I knew the art would be great but wasn't sure if the story would match it. Well, it does. It's clear to see that this was a labour of love for Van Sciver. Just hope we don't have to wait too long for the next book.
I backed this on Indiegogo and as an avid fan of Ethan Van Sciver's work throughout his career, this did not disappoint. The art is phenomenal here and its a throwback to older, better comics styling and story writing, which I appreciate. The colors are amazing as well and overall I am glad I backed this. When it finally was done and delivered, I waited for awhile to read it. I just finished it and now I want more. Such a great book from an amazing team. Hope more is on the way!Danny
Just received this in the mail today. Was happy to help fund and receive the largest crowd funded comic book of all time. It took over a year to be finished and mailed out. This ends in a cliff hanger which implies there are further comics, I was really looking forward to cyber frog fighting off the alien invasion. I hope after this first comic that EVS can hire a few helping hands to get more of these done in the future. I would be happy to see this go on for several comics assuming each one do...
The attention to detail on this was incredible. The story is somewhat average when compared to the greats, but it's fun and the colorist nails it.
Absolutely beautiful artwork and an interesting and engaging story.
Spectacular ArtReview of the original Chromium cover edition (2019) [there are several later variant cover editions]The spectacular line art and coloring are the overwhelming features here and pretty much offset the somewhat downhearted feeling given by a cliff-hanger ending. The abruptness of the Part 3 conclusion is also exaggerated by the bonus portfolio section of sketch art and alternate cover variants. These are great to have when they feel like an actual bonus but when the story feels cut...

Stellar art with an engaging enough story that gets me excited to back Mr. Van Sciver's next project, Rekt Planet.
Excellent read. Amazing art. This is what a comic book should be.
Loved it. Comic books are alive and well.
I bought this because his art on Flash and Green Lantern Rebirth was great. I never read the original series but I didn’t feel like I needed to. Fun story, great art. Can’t wait for the next one!
