So far only read/listened to:-- Tend to Me by Kristina Ten, narrated by the great Stefan Rudnicki - 2*Story told in metaphor which is not my cupa. A woman who always "chameleons" herself for her boyfriends eventually turns into a final thing and lives among those like her.
OOF! Worse than usual. "Giant Steps" could have been interesting, but the blatant disregard for the basics of reality in such a close-future story ruined it. "Living the Quiet Life" was excellent! A full book's worth of development and intrigue in 8000 words. "Many Happy Returns" was fun, but too goofy to be serious and too serious to be goofy. Giant Steps - Russell Nichols ***Good themes - choosing between success/career and family, clashing between generations - and tied into the jazz and banduns/giants background nicely.
