PAUL CIMINELLO: Remember My Name

PAUL CIMINELLO: Remember My Name

Paul Ciminello
0/5 ( ratings)
Paul Ciminello came to America New Year’s Eve in 1955, and already had the music flowing in his blood. When walking down Broadway in New York City for the first time, he started to get shivers. Paul knew then and there he was going to be part of the States’ music scene. By January, 1963 he formed his own trio which in a few years grew to a full Orchestra. Paul is a well-respected and renowned musician, singer, recording artist and all-around entertainer who has played many functions at country clubs and hotels....and played for 20 years at the Sunday brunch at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and flew to Denver and to Las Vegas to play for the Grand Opening of the new Maggiano’s Restaurants, and has played for fund raisers for the Lake Forest Symphony. For over 50 years, Paul Ciminello was one of the most prominent members of the Italian American community in Chicago. It would not be surprising to see Paul sing the National Anthem at Soldier's Field or lead his Orchestra during a function for the City of Chicago. Among his many accomplishments, Paul played with a full orchestra for Romano Prodi, who at the time was the Prime Minister of Italy, and at a fund raiser for President Bill Clinton. He has worked with the big names in show business in America and Italy, including comic Jimmy Durante, Domenico Modugno, Luciano Tajoli, Nilla Pizzi, and Georgio Consolini....and on an all-star Italian show on radio and television. After 20 years of broadcasting on WEEF producing his own radio show, “Italian Melodies”, six days a week, . Paul subsequently had a popular one hour program on “Radio Maria” and continues doing Italian sports every Sunday morning on WEEF Radio.
