“There is nothing better than to be on a shared mission with people you care about who can be radically truthful and radically transparent with each other.” - Definitely adding this one to my favourite quotes. Inspiring words and compelling illustrations!
It's a 5 star read. I love that it's distilled the essentials of the larger tome. I hope to read this to my kids and I really hope they grasp it's essentials.
It should be re-read frequently. It’s very short, but it has nice illustrations and provoking thoughts and questions.I expected something with much more content though.
Spontaneous and inspiring Sunday morning read. A beautiful artsy and very easy-to-read book to have on your shelf.Reading words and wisdom from people who already have long life (and business) experience always makes one want to “believe” more of what they are saying. So in that way Ray’s book had a lot more value for me.Ray’s principles for success could be summed up as follows:- open-minded approach and determination will always (!) get you further- reflecting on your mistakes, weaknesses, pro...
sometimes a picture worth a thousand wordssometimes a picture worth a thousand words. this is a good illustrated book to read, see and think about life and business.
One of the best books I've read. It summarized what Ray Dalio wrote in Principles. However this version is much easier to understand. Strongly recommended.
A good narrative illustration of some of the core principles Ray suggests to live by, which are by their most distilled form. Looking forward to read his book Principles next.
I’ve been meaning to read Principles for a while but couldn’t commit to the length for what seemed generally straightforward advice. So I read this children’s book version instead. As a children’s book, it’s fine. The illustrations were repetitive and basic and the length (over 100 pages) was way longer than most children would put up with. That said, the principles are sound and I’ve found the same lessons in my own life. As a guide to living, I cannot disagree. But it was a little rich (lol) to

A short summary of Principles. I truly enjoyed it but it was maybe a tad too short. Could have easily been at least double the size.
Short and sweet. One should read this book and adapt the principles.
I'm not sure why I was gifted this picture book, which essentially features the same three pictures: Man tripping over rock, man looking at mountain peak, and man lost in jungle. Might be nice for a high school student? It's folksy wisdom that you would get from a man relaxing in a rocking chair in a small Western town town, munching on a Red Delicious apple. Only here, the man is a billionaire hedge fund manager.
