Full disclosure: I am a contributor. That said, this collection is amazing. When I got my copy I expected to do a quick scan and add to my stack. Instead I sat and read the first third in an evening, stopping to savor every 2 or 3 pages. Beautiful imagery, strong words, magical twists. Highly recommend.

A beautiful anthology. I bookmarked at least 15 poems! Great examples of craft, such as how to widen scope, create an effective turn, animate the inanimate, and incorporate mythic or fabulist themes while maintaining an authentic and personal voice. And for those of us who’ve struggled with domestic or family responsibilities, these poems are therapeutic, too.
