Tim has a Master's Degree of Social Work from the University of Denver. He is an Independent Clinical Social Worker, American Board Certified Diplomat, and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the State of Wisconsin. He has over 40 years of experience serving the public's mental health needs.Tim has presented several workshops throughout the United States. He has consulted for Native American tribes, instructed educators, trained probation officers and jailors, and presented seminars for drug and alcohol counselors. He has facilitated professional and volunteer groups in the Bayfield County Jail for several years as well as served on the Bayfield County Criminal Justice Board. Tim also served 1.5 years as the national chairperson for the 12-step program Guide for Living, and has organized the development of two other national 12-step programs.Tim is founder and director of Harbor North Counseling. He is married, has two adult children and lives in Bayfield, Wisconsin. He enjoys spending time with family and sharing outdoor activities such as open-water swimming, National Ski Patrol, and sailing.
