Lake didn’t deserved a second chance. He didn’t deserved forgiveness. He didn’t deserved to win with the team. He didn’t deserved their friendship. He didn’t deserved the scholarship. He didn’t even deserved to live. Sorry not sorry, but it sucked in a big fucking way that he got everything in the end. He didn’t deserved a fucking thing.
I'm going to do my absolute best not to give any spoilers in this review. That's going to be a bit hard b/c everyone knows where I stand on that douche canoe Lake. So this may be a little shorter than my other two reviews for this series. That in NO WAY reflects on my feelings for this book. I absolutely loved it just as much as the other two.Ok, so we left Foul Line in a horrible way. Now it's time for senior year to start. Tessa is still dealing with her medical issues from that cringe worthy
Main lesson learned from series...Tessa’s dad is the cause of all her problems...If he had kept his dick in his pants none of this shit would have happened...
Not the ending I wanted. It felt rushed and some very hasty additions in the last 10% didn't leave me satisfied. I didn't really buy into this harem and still think it was a one horse race. Only one deserved Tessa. Tessa herself went from girl power in book 1, to dependent and needy for these Ballers. She was so hungry for their approval and once she was accepted by them all she kinda lost all her awesome independence. There was also very little basketball in this. One game, that's for the whole...
Great ending to this series! This series has blown me away. To be honest this trilogy was amazing but I still want more! I want to be with these guys trough college and beyond. I NEED it! I can honestly say I did not see that one coming with Lake and even though he did what he did, it all makes sense. I don't want to give any spoilers away but man I wish things would of taken a different route with Lake of you catch my drift! Guess if you want to know what I mean by that your gonna have to read i...
Buddy read with the cake eaters of RHR.The ending felt a bit anti-climactic so feeling a bit meh but here goes. I loved the writing style. Page one and was sucked back in, not to mention I was emotionally invested in Tessa’s situation. How strong she is, what she has to cope with and what her future held in store. Unfortunately, I got bored. The first book was bullying, the second the bullying was replaced with jealousy and grovelling, this one was excuses and sex. Basketball is pretty much toss...
2.5 stars**+0.5didnt love it.. slept at like 2am reading this shit despite not loving it: again, my problems lie in the plot build and the rush to end the book. the guys never really redeemed themselves (except for Hayes), the others just got a free pass without really grovelling. the ending was rushed... like Lake was just forgiven because he tried to commit suicide and then went to rehab?? after the shit he did to her, including breaking her wrist? he didnt even apologize btw that guy is dange...
2 Stars. I loved this series, until this book.I'm not ok with Tessa feeling guilty over her negative feelings toward Lake and she was basically guilt tripped into forgiving him. Should we blame her for Lake's abuse too?He physically assaulted her, broke her wrist and overpowered her by holding her down making her feel helpless and scared. She is the victim, not him. I don't care what his reasons are they aren't justifiable.Lake did NOTHING to earn forgiveness. He tried to kill himself and went t...
Pages: 297My rating (stars): 3Read other books from this author in the future: yesI liked about this book:✔ Tessa is not a whiney person and lives with her injuries.✔ The Basketball Theme ✔ Hayes✔ Development of the harem dynamics✔ Less bullying (only at the end when this someone deserves it)✔ Relationship Tessa has with her Basketball Team after tryouts✔ Tessa being a starting player✔ Tessa's generous heart(view spoiler)[ ✔ Lake not becoming friends with Tessa (hide spoiler)]What I don...
2.5 Stars. Ugh. I was disappointed with this ending and how the Lake situation was dealt with.
Wow, what a rush! I mainlined these three books like they were nothing over the course of 2 days. And I don't have one ounce of regret...well other than the fact that my name isn't Tessa Dale. 💁♀️ Am I right? Just a hedonistic little spin into the world of high stakes high school basketball...which is like my fave school sport ever, so YAY! I really enjoyed the care and consideration that Ms. Moore took with her writing of the subject, it was well plotted out. I loved the dynamic cast or charac...
Forget the heroine The only thing i liked about this book is that Ryan ( one of the hero) at least cares about the heroine’s mother who is going through so much cuz her husband cheated on her with Ryan’s mom. At least Ryan realises that his mom hurt The heroine’s mom and he cares about what she thinks cuz the heroine being the daughter barely talks to her mom. Like her harem cares more about her mom than the heroine cuz the heroine focuses more on her cheating dad who not only cheated on her mom...
A very satisfying conclusion! Although, i do think tessa held onto her grudge too long. That epilogue was amazing!!
Tessa is back and it's her senior year of high school and this time she is more than determined not to let anyone stand in the way of her basketball career and dreams, especially not Lake. She is still recovering from her injury that Lake caused at camp, but at least this time she has the other Ballers in her court. This is her final year to shine as this is the time that scouts show up and if she wants to achieve her goal as being in the WNBA - she will have to up her game. This year though won...
I’m kicking myself for not reading these books sooner. I admit that my reasoning was kind of petty. While I love the story hard, I have a hard time jumping on board with the terrible covers. It looks like a badly photoshopped head of Ariana Grande on a body that isn’t hers. It’s awkward looking and cheesy. I’m glad I was able to to look past the whole cover thing! This was a great story. My only other hang up was the fact that I felt the author did too much “tell” and not enough “show”. I would
It's hard to say goodbye. 😍😍😭I loved every minute of this series. The ups and downs, the dark, the hurt, the sexy and the happy moments. I'm so glad everything came together in the end. I had happy tears, it was beautiful. I'm sad to goodbye but I definitely enjoyed my time with these characters.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.OMG this is one fantabulous conclusion to this amazing trilogy!! We pick with Tessa still in a cast hoping to heal in time for tryouts. Things are so much better with her and the Ballers though Lake is still causing all sorts of problems. Things really ramp up as the story progresses and we learn so much stuff that puts it all in perspective. A perfect conclusion to an amazing trilogy that is truly a mus...
The third book in The Ballers of Rockport High series picks up just a short time after what happened in the last one. Tessa’s wrist is broken, all the guys are on her side for once and she’s ready to take on Lake and her last year in high school, as well as achieving her goal of getting a starting position on the basketball team so she can be awarded a scholarship to State. This book is filled with sweet and hot moments. We get to know more about Hayes’s background, and this clues us in as to wh...
Rating: 2.5⭐️ for the whole seriesThis was one series that I was glad to be done with! Don’t get me wrong, the series was okay and overall I did kind of enjoy it. Seeing as I managed to finish the series. However, their was quite a lot of things that annoyed/frustrated/pissed me off throughout the whole series. Be warned there is a lot of WTF because that was how I felt. **************Spoilers down below!**************Tessa - For a girl who claimed basketball was her whole life and that it was h...
