Hidden artifactWell now. If you like a excellent series with a badass female protagonist, this is for you. The Knights Magica have taken over Westport. The vacuum created by the Illuminati destruction has emboldened an even worse evil. Bent on taking over the world, a magical artifact may be behind it all. Love this series.
GoodThis series continues to entertain. The protagonist is wonderful to watch develop. The political chaos in this book was a little over the top- would the knights really have had it so easy?
Nice continuation of the storyThe past is catching up to Erin in this volume. Old enemies have realized the illuminati are gone or powerless and are filling in the power vacuum. Erin has to step up her involvement with her new friends to keep the peace in Westport. Erin's character gets more developed in this story and the plot is set up for the next novel.
I can't wait for the next book to come out. I love this series!
This book started out with a earthquake that only mages felt. This was because a.New group was trying to take over the key lines so they could control the world's magic. With that they could rule the world. Rosie of course was in their crosshairs and they tried to destroy her and make her a pawn for them. Invasion by The Knights of MagicaI’d probably give this 4.5 ⭐️ if I could.This book is from one of my favourite authors. I always love the stuff BR Kingsolver writes, but I was a little uncertain in parts of this book. 3 1/2 stars. Things go global as the Knights make a move to take over the world and exposes magic to mundane humans. Erin truly shows how kickass she is in the latest installment of the series with lots of fight scenes. But not everything looks bleak for Erin as a new love interest enters the picture and appears to a good match for her. The romance felt a little rushed and rough in places. Amazing!! Really enjoyed this book they just keep getting better and better. Only problem is I know have to wait until spring 2020 for the next installment
3.5 Interesting twist!I was really curious to find out how it'll go on once the Illuminati are gone. I can say that I am impressed, I did not expect to see a bigger, 'badder', wolf out there. Still, I'm disappointed in the Fae. I wanted to see more of them, see them more involved. I have a feeling that this second part will be a bit rushed, but let's wait and see.
