4 Oh the tension starsI’m up and down with Vampire Debt. Throughout the entire book you just wonder when Basi and Kyros are going to have sex or when the next blood exchange will happen. This is a really slow-pace book. It’s for some and it’s not for others. When I read slow pace books the focus is more on the secondary story line and the romance is usually the back-burner. This book is all about the relationship. It’s exhausting and yet you can’t put the book down.I will agree with some of the
4.25/5 stars
Oh hello. What am I doing? Reading book two when I didn't enjoy book one. Yea,something's wrong with me.I honestly don't know what led me to read this book. I did not like Basil in book one, I did not like Basil in book two. At least I'm consistent. When I read a book about Vampires, I expect fang, beauty and smutty sexiness. This book delivered one and it wasn't smutty sexiness. St.Clare left us panting in book one only to disappoint in book two. Shame. This lady forgave EVERYONE who had ever wro...
What’s going on with the heroine? Why did she change into a kid high on sugar type of character? 🤨Hm..
I'm worried...This is book 2, some 800 pages in and I feel like we are at the beginning. Where is the development from book 1 or some serious backstory?I don't feel anything for the main characters, for any of the characters really. Actually that's not true, I'm really annoyed by the MC. It's like the author is trying to make her something she just cannot be...she's flat, boring. I don't want to be her friend. I don't admire her. I don't hate her. I honestly wouldn't even want to be in the same...
There were a couple moments in here that really put my jaw on the floor.Totally enjoying this series. It's my first from this author, but unless something horrible goes off the rails, it for damn sure won't be my last.
I hated this book. Read it in one evening and wish I hadn’t. It got one star for some of the humor. Basil is a whiny b***h. When she finds out she’s been duped she forgives everyone else, siblings, indebted, she’s even nice to Gina who was going to kill her in the last book. She forgave the indebted and siblings for knowing she was being lied to but not the man she can literally feel his FEELINGS for her and who has gone above and beyond in how he knows to apologize and it doesn’t matter even th...
4.5. Wow. That was a massively intense and angsty ride.I continue to be blown away by this series. It is massively compelling and I can't remember the last time I felt so emotionally invested in the main characters. However, I don't think I enjoyed this one as much as the first, mainly because of all of the angst and secrets. Don't get me wrong, I think the series is exceptional, but, as I'm so emotionally invested, it wasn't the most enjoyable read in several places and I feel a bit like I have
5 Bloody Stars!Noooo!! Kelly why you got to do us like that? That ending was so unexpected and now we have to wait for the third one! This book was honestly amazing, and I loved it as much as I did the first one. When Kelly said she was releasing a Vampire book, I already knew it would be unique, and of course, sexy, and I am not even a fan of vampires, but Kelly did get me to fall in love with dragons, so I knew it wouldn't be hard for her to get me to fall back in love with vampires too, which...
4.5 stars. This was one wild roller coaster ride, for real. The ending fucked me up. They were (view spoiler)[like, getting somewhere, but then betrayal, y'all, and I don't even know how I feel now. That was so freaking heart wrenching, and I need to read book three now, but it's like 1 a.m. so I should sleep. Ugh. (hide spoiler)] This series is so freaking good, but hell on my emotions. On a separate note, I absolutely love the agency that Basilia takes with Ingenium in this book. It's epic. Th...
