In the Deep, Dark and Dangerous

In the Deep, Dark and Dangerous

Tarun Sharma
0/5 ( ratings)
Half siblings, Anand and Vrinda are as different as chalk and cheese.12-year-old Anand enjoys science and quiet time in nature and dislikes authority while 14-year-old Vrinda is an outspoken debater, an athlete, and a natural leader.

Vrinda's inability to be a responsible elder sister and Anand's refusal to accept Vrinda as the elder sister gets them stranded in one of the largest unexplored wilderness of India.

~

Trouble is an odd thing.

The trouble with trouble is; Most times the most terrible of troubles are terribly hard to predict. The funny thing is often, you yourself jump into it. And you don't really know of it until you are knee-deep in it. Sometimes, even further in.

But anyone who's been through troubled times and got out alive, can tell you, they would not change a thing! Zilch! Because another thing with trouble is, oddly, somehow, it makes you stronger, sharper, better; and more appreciative of everything good that you have been overlooking.

So with that curious fact in mind, whenever we find ourselves experiencing such an important growth phase of our life, why not, enjoy it? In whatever little amount we can. Until we stand on that hill. Appreciating the view of the forest that we just came out of. While sharing laughs with the friends we made down there.

Because the absolute best thing about trouble is, however troublesome it might be, it can gift you some of the truest friends you are ever likely to make, including your own self.
