The little town of Baños, just southwest of Cuenca, Ecuador and famous for its healing thermal waters draws thousands of visitors each year. But this sanctuary of health and sunshine has a dark side, as Cuencano Private Detective Wilson Salinas learns when he is hired to locate an eighteen-month old girl who has been “kidnapped” by her birth father.
Finding the girl is not difficult, but Wilson can’t believe what the father, in league with the girl’s grandmother, plans to do with the innocent child. Fueled by anger and righteous indignation, Wilson takes the law into his own hands.
