So apparently this series is classified as 'reverse harem'- that's a new one for me and I guess kind of explains some things, but I'm still confused lol.I will say that the world is coming together a little more. Story is interesting but I won’t classify this as romance or reverse harem. These dudes suck...especially Malcolm.
Vile SorceryAnother great book in the series. I love how the relationships develop slowly and how we get sucked into the mystery, betrayal, suspense,...At this point I do hope we get some answers soon and that the FMC opens up her eyes when it comes to the joymancers and the threat of the barons. the bullying in this book seems to really calm down except for Malcom, but are we surprised? All I really want at this point is more information about the boys which the author was starting to add to the story, as well as character growth all around.
There was so much suffering in this one and it was absolutely delicious. The scenes with the dragon figurine??? Especially THAT scene?? That hurt me so good honestly. All of the 5 stars. Great read. The movement of Rory's affection between the different scions was entertaining. You can tell that each one of the scions care for her in their own way, besides Malcom that is. The series is getting better as I go.This series is still going strong I really enjoyed the second book in the series, the characters are developing nicely and the story is getting bolder and more interesting. I'm loving the characters, Rory is so strong willed and I admire her courage to stick to what she believes. Im hoping in the next book Malcom will stop being a giant @sshat, but we'll soon see.
