I listened to this complete box set on audible so this review is for the voices and story:Voice: The female voice of the trilogy is a good fit for the story, easy to listen to and not confusing or anything since the different characters all have their own sort of voice. I love that she did the whole trilogy, well, the main three books that is.The male voice for the companion story took a while to get used to after listening to the female voice for the first two books. But it wasn’t bad and easy
The bonus material in this edition is exactly what my heart needed. I love that this is a set now and I can easily hook up my friends with the whole series at once! Halls writing is superb and I absolutely adore the characters and world. Highly recommend these babies.
Absolutely fantastic read! This series is everything you could want and more. Julie Hall brings this world to life and sucks you in so completely that you will not want to put it down. Highly recommend!
I don’t know what I was thinking when I opened up the first book in this series but it certainly wasn’t what I found there. I just casually started reading and immediately found myself engrossed. I honestly could not stop flipping the pages until the end. Even then I knew I wanted more. I was enraptured with the world building! Also, I felt an immediate bond with her characters. A wonderful story I literally couldn't put this story down! Julie Hall takes us on a wonderful ride through a fantasy world, with a huge basis in Christianity.
