Awesome - Keep this universe alive!
This was pretty good, actually. Not sure we needed it though. Greg Pak is turning into the torch bearer for keeping Firefly alive, so good one, mate!
Best 50 cent purchase ever! I have no clue what is going on but I want to read more of this series. The artwork was amazing.
While I enjoyed this one-shot, I do feel like this series has been rushed into publication a bit. Still, this was enjoyable and entertaining.
As a backyard on Yosaffbridge it's very superficial borrowing heavily from every urchin story ever coupled with Whedon's own Fray. It could have been long and more in depth, instead it decided to skip to the end and connect it with Moon and the current Pak arc.
Great to finally have an origin of "Our Mrs. Reynolds".
Great backstory, but can we believe it?! One can never trust Yo/Saff/Bridge.
Slow, boring... Firefly can survive without this story. If so, it could be a 8 pages short story to tell what's important about this character.
7/10
I really don't need a sob story to like a complex kinda-villain-but-not-exactly character. YoSafBridge is a very good character in the show and we don't need to learn more about her past. She is a surviver, that is basically all we need to know. One of the most interesting things about her is not really knowing why she sometimes do the right thing or if/when she is just manipulating people. And I felt that story was really boring, like there was nothing original here. And I didn't like the whole...
The Firefly verse is one of the more intriguing and this is a fine addition to it.
Eeehhh
I really enjoyed this. Saffron was one of the characters from the show I wished they had explored more (I mean, getting a second season would've been perfect for that, but thanks FOX.). I loved the artwork especially.
A well done back story of Saffron, my favourite non-crew character. It explains why she was such a great seductress.
"Můj život by vám připadal hrozně nudný." Tak nějak Saffron shrnula Malovi svou údajnou minulost v epizodě Our Mrs. Reynolds.
It was a different look into the 'verse and it leaves you wanting to know more.
First of all, the artwork for this issue is absolutely amazing! I’ve never seen so many artists work on a single issue before, but man are the results worth it. This issue wins the award of favorite artwork (so far) this year. It’s that good. I loved this issue. I feel like it had a bit of that ‘we can’t trust the story’ vibe (like when Joker explains his backstories). I believe that there are some elements she told us that are true, but realistically I don’t think it’s all true. We’ve learned
Ok little story about Saffron's backstory. Of course, considering what a chimera Saffron is, who knows if it REALLY is her history....
Ever the unreliable narrator. I didn’t find this as interesting as the other comics so far, maybe because it was longer so the pacing was different. But taken as a whole, it’s a great entry for this character.
Brilliant expansion of te Firefly/Serenity universe, giving more character depth upon one of the main characters, I like the idea of stories about characters before they become part of the Firefly group and in this case before the war. Art work through out the comic/graphic novel (it is very large to be called just a comic) at the rear of comic.graphic there is a introduction to Ronin Island, Really enjoyed this story, I hope that they do similar character stories on others in the firefly group....
