Natalia Colombo is an illustrator and graphic designer currently living in
Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has illustrated picture books published in countries all over the world. Her book Cerca was awarded the first International Compostela
Prize by the Department of Education of the City Council of Santiago; the Italian
version of the same book received the Delle Palme Prize for Best Foreign Picture
Book. Her images seem to come from an imaginary world where everything is
happy, sweet, and playful. Her favorite characters are animals and she loves to draw them as protagonists of stories and “fábulas” .
