There once was a boy, Pepe and his grandfather Josi, and neither knew how to read or write; this was not uncommon in their town. One day, they had an argument and, in order to communicate with each other, they hired Miguel, a man whose job was to read and write for illiterate people. Many letters were passed from one to the other while Pepe paid Miguel by going to school, and Josi paid him with flowers from his own garden. At the end of the whole ordeal, Pepe kept going to school, learned how to read and write and wrote a letter to the government asking for a pension for his grandfather.
