As I would have expected, Ms. Jones writing on "common ground" is powerful and thought-provoking. Having grown up in Atlanta, I'm always impacted by the setting in her writing - and this non-fiction writing is no exception. It's funny that so many people have marked this as 'to-read' when it's a magazine article that is linked right there and will only take a few minutes to read. Equity is the goal and compromise is not going to achieve equity.
Just a poignant, meaningful, and true today as it was when written in November 2018.
Very good article. Still stands true today. Pick a side, right is right, wrong is wrong, all many people think about is what can be gained for themselves!!
