How Islam works: Aisha: Wife of the Prophet of Allah.

How Islam works: Aisha: Wife of the Prophet of Allah.

Mike Stallard
0/5 ( ratings)
This is the third in the series on how Islam works. Aisha was the six year old wife of the Prophet of Allah, a man in his late fifties. Lots of anger out there from prurient and self righteous people. The facts say otherwise.
I give the facts.
It was a happy marriage actually, with its ups and downs, admittedly, but on the whole a good match. Before getting angry, please do read the evidence.
I am a Catholic and not a Muslim. I know how annoying it is when people bang on about priestly child abuse and the Christian Brothers' ideas on education. And my "imaginary friend". So I realise that this booklet will not appeal to Muslims. But it isn't written for them. It is for Westerners who want to learn about Islam through our own eyes.
There are tons of books that set out to do this. Mine is short and simple. It is based only on the firmest evidence - the hadiths of al Bukhari, ibn Ishaq and the Koran.
It costs less than most magazines: but it rests on the firmest foundations.
Read it and be reassured that at least you know as much about Aisha as anyone else, and that includes a lot of Muslims too!
