AMERICA'S DARKEST AGE: SURVIVING THE NIGHT

AMERICA'S DARKEST AGE: SURVIVING THE NIGHT

Scott Davis
0/5 ( ratings)
A riveting novel by a well known Author detailing the aftershocks and surviving the dark ages brought about by EMP attacks that set society back to the early 1800's. Violence, starvation, and death follow in greater numbers than ever seen before. Jack Henderson is forced to leave his home in a larger city for the protection of a smaller community where he has two good friends from his service in the military. He doesn't find the peace he hoped for but is plunged into fight after fight to protect his new home. This gritty novel details the first four months of the EMP's aftermath and the total destruction of the fabric of society. Larger and larger groups begin to sweep across the country killing anybody in their way in the search for food. They can't be reasoned with and their only understanding is death and destruction. The two things the larger groups will trade or barter for is ammunition and enslaved women. Henderson will do whatever is necessary to protect his new home and the people he has come to know. He wonders if he can survive the ruthlessness of the new world, but knows he'll fight with everything he has until his death or the new beginnings of civilization.
