I love the vibes, and I cant wait to continue the series.
A fun read, a bit light on plot but good on character.
You know how sometimes a friend will be like, “You have GOT to see this new movie—it is the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE and if it doesn’t change your life, I will eat an entire swing set!”And then you see the movie. And it’s…fine. Like, it’s not a complete waste of your time. But, the strongest reaction you can muster up when your friend asks about it is a weak shrug and a half-hearted, “It was pretty good, I guess. It just didn’t really salt my pickle.” You’re never sure if the movie was only okay...
Clever. The drawings are great. I don't think that it quite has the depth that a ACD story had.
Solid Holmes story.
Its alright I guess. Sherlock has to find about the mystery of Michel williams meanwhile dealing with a subplot about a boy he sent for errands whose kidnapped by Moriarty and meanwhile revelations about Hookham Solicitors. You think there will be more sherlock deductions, mind palace, him degrading others infront of him, there is nothing like that and no like large intriguing mystery.
Intriguing, if a bit accusatory of Holmes. I liked the clean-line art style, which has a great sense of movement. More emphasis on action than mystery, as is typical of the comic versions of Holmes. A clever premise although some loose ends are left dangling.
Not a full 4 but it is Sherlock Holmes a fav of mine. Enjoyable read!
