Where the Carcass Is…

Wounded characters in their weakest state find themselves alone, which is sometimes created by the choices of people around them. Including but not limited to life circumstances including tragedy.

The main character, Ethan experiences depression and loneliness, his life circumstances have created distrust at a foundational level.

In Starr’s case, wanting adoring music fans, but the attention she craves originates from one of the most horrific things a child can experience.

In the characters’ hearts and minds they're tired, beat up by life, but they put on a good front while some stronger than they, are feasting off of them due to their human need for socialization and human contact. Whether they've found themselves weakened by the social hunger pangs of life, sickened by desires unmet, and whether those desires are love, loneliness, affection, material things, or something more determines the frequency and severity of their ailments and whether or not destruction will find them.

The fact that life can weaken even the strongest of soldiers remains an overarching theme. The characters rely on their upbringing most times as guiding factors including Biblical principles imparted by their parents, but mostly it's the long talks around the dinner table after church with a grandparent which has a lasting effect because grandparents of that era had retired and were willing and able to commit to their duties as a grandparents. Whether or not the characters have subscribed to the deepest and richest relationship with God remains to be uncovered, although they definitely remember His words as imparted to them. Their parents or grandparents understood the command “Teach a child in the way he should go” and they had faith that God would be sure that “he” their offspring “will not depart from it.”

In the end, no one path to Jesus is the same as it’s a personal journey that some can't or won't accept or are blind to the free gift, unable to understand why or how God could love them unconditionally at their worst not realizing people who love them at their best have done nothing for them. People don't always understand or have a clear *definition of love. Sovereign love is on a totally different level which is translated by The Holy Spirit, the gift God The Father sent to after His only begotten son , The Lord Jesus ascended to heaven. This sovereign love includes correction in whichever way God deems best for His child. Similar to the way a father or mother who loves his or her children will correct and chastise them for if they do not they know the world will.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
BACK MATTER:
What happens when an emcee, a writer, & an ex-porn star are linked together by a deadly set of circumstances poised to reveal a truth wielded like a two edged sword set to destroy relationships while answering deep-seated questions. One may desire answers, yet may not be strong enough to handle the truth.

CAUSE, EFFECT, & CONSEQUENCE, "Where the Carcass is the Eagles Will Gather" An obvious truth, only when you're the carcass: guard your heart; don't be afraid to ask questions, embrace answers.
