Never Give a Bunny a Haircut (The Never Stories Book 1)

Never Give a Bunny a Haircut (The Never Stories Book 1)

Rivka Simons
0/5 ( ratings)
Book One: In Never Give a Bunny a Haircut, the Never Stories’ reoccurring characters, Carl and Jessica, experience an adventure together – going to the barber salon. This book is a must-have for every barber salon there are several necessary tasks that children simply do not want to do; and hair grooming is among them. Through a delightful game the hairdressers devise using bits of cotton, the children’s imaginations take off, and the tedious grooming is accomplished. This book teaches cooperation and problem-solving, and the difference between tools and toys. This book is a must-have for every barber salon.

This children’s book series is based upon the most important lessons every parent, grandparent and caregiver should try to teach their children in order to guide the child through life, and successfully interact with society. The books were designed as playful and colorful ways to introduce children to our world in a manner which is nonthreatening, yet, thought provoking with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Each book features characters which will strike a chord of recognition from a cross-section of society.

Illustrations feature wonderful characters done in the highly-identifiable style of Artist, Richard Rodriguez. Richard has a vivid past as a muralist and portrait artist, so he is simply having a ball illustrating these books. His zeal is clearly reflected in his artwork.

Additionally, in every book are game pages [specific titles of game pages change with the theme of its respective book], as well as teaching suggestions to punch home important points.

Social issues are addressed in each book; i.e., Bullying, Racism, Behavioral Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gender Identification, and Childhood Obesity, just to start. A critical aspect of this series is teaching of empathy and compassion, as it is for the greater good of society. Our planet must be guided by future generations who learned how to accept the evolution of the universe.
