This is probably the most consistent UF stories of recent times. Its fun, original, Australian setting, with just enough "weird" to not make it over the top. Verity is back, with a new job, family responsibilities, murders, police, friendships tested as well as new and old foes. Good fun. My only complaint is that I feel the setting has bridged out enough yet. It feels a little too self contained. Hopefully it builds into something much larger.
