I probably should not have listened to the audiobook on this one. I had to turn the speed up to 1.5x because the narrator was SO annoying! She read like she was trying to seduce the reader, and it was syrupy and grated on my nerves. Somehow, she also made it sound like the main character was a Disney princess. Ambrosia by the Sea was my first time reading Traci Hall and I think I am hooked. This was a great story of starting over and finding love in the process. Dax and Celia were genuine characters and easy to relate to and their circle of friends and family were amusing and real. I definitely recommend this book!

Beautiful StoryEmotionally wounded and betrayed, Celia watched the video of her husband's death over and over. It was time to heal. She packed up and headed for the island in the Spanish off the coast of Florida. It is on this small island she finds friends, a purpose, peace, and healing. The sea and sand have all the healing properties anyone needs. I know, because I live in the beach. This is a wonderful story, with lovely characters, and written with a lot of emotion. Beautifully done. Loved

This is the first book I have read from Traci and it was a really enjoyable read. It is the first book in the series and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series. Celia and Dax were wonderful characters they were just perfect for each other both have been hurt in the past though will they be able to overcome their past and have a future together.
