"This Medieval romance was as terrific as the Highland Lord and Highland Lady but it is more suspenseful and had a very unique storyline, unique in that I hadn’t read this trope in an historical romance before….As you can guess, there were lots of obstacles for Kara to overcome to have a relationship of some kind with her husband. And then there was the unexpected obstacle of falling for her husband’s older half-brother and the obstacle of her husband’s evil cousin who wanted the throne for himself. There were moments of cliff-hanging suspense fraught with danger and moments of affection and love in this story….I loved every minute of it!”—Janice Hougland
