Whoa, really liked this one.
Whaaaaat did I just read. That was incredible. Definitely adding this to my pull list.
Strong start, though I wish Marvel had been a little braver and not tacked on the explainer.
It is going to be very hard for this new run to compete with the Lemire run that came before it. That being said it's off to a very dark, but good start.

I said I wasn't going to read Moon Knight any more because of how dark it is, but peer spouse pressure can be so annoying. Jacob gets so excited when he reads this comic, and he really wanted me to catch up. It was just two more issues, so I didn't see the harm.They weren't as graphic as the two before it, but they were intense. Max Bemis is the devil. I hate, hate, hate cliffhangers and these were ridic...
I love Moon Knight since his adventures are always a trip. His multiple personality disorder always provides an interesting narrative, even if the actual plot itself is clunky. That couldn't be more evident than with this short run, where the story kind of meanders and then comes to a conclusion that is meant to feel epic but instead falls flat on its face. That said, it's never boring, so there's that.
It was a good start to continue the series, but I'm curious to see how it's going to take off. Time will tell, but I did enjoy the art quite a lot.
