Founded in 1809 , Miami University of Ohio is named after the Miami Indian tribe, who now live in Oklahoma, but once inhabited the area where the University was built—-the Miami River Valley of Ohio. Confused yet? Good.

If you’ve purchased this book, then you probably already know a thing or two about Miami of Ohio. You may or may not know about its academic reputation.
