LOST GIRLS is the third book in Spectacular Optical’s ongoing series of limited run film and pop culture books, which includes KID POWER! and SATANIC PANIC: POP CULTURAL PARANOIA IN THE 1980s and will precede the previously announced YULETIDE TERROR: CHRISTMAS HORROR IN FILM AND TELEVISION, which will be released in fall of 2017.

this was maybe the biggest secondary source I used for my thesis paper and it ROCKS !!! a series of very fun insightful critical essays on some very strange exciting movies

Some of the essays read a bit too much like grad school papers, but lots of insights are to be had on a woefully under served filmmaker. Lots of terrific stills, too.

An excellent book containing essays be women on the work of Jean Rollin. Lavishly illustrated. Surprisingly high quality contributions for a non-academic work.Not without problems, mostly in the editing, including a huge mistake that required a full page insert to correct. And the illustrations kind of get to be a bit much. When 90% of the book is only talking about a half dozen films, including several film stills per page is a bit much. Some of the essays, especially in the last quarter of the...
