I love the illustrations in this by Sav Akyuz. They are loud and bright, and really pop from the page, like grafitti, or a children’s cartoon show.On the actual story, I love the way Akala mixes the straightforward narrative of HOP learning to ride a bike, with these sections where HIP and all the others break into rhyme, song and rap to encourage HOP. I think it would be a fun book to read with kids, especially for the repetition, where you get to know the rhymes and can join in, and learn the
