The Golden Circle: This is the Main Reason to Travel to Iceland

Iceland is a dream comes true. An atypical country, full of very civilized people and that above all has the most spectacular natural scenery I have ever seen.

It is not only the culture, which I am especially sympathetic to but that way of doing things, of living in harmony with the natural environment and being aware that we have to take care of it.

All this knowing that the geothermal activity of Iceland is a brutality and that any day the island explodes and sends them to the Valhalla of a voyage. Out jokes, the main reason to go to Iceland has a name and surname: the Golden Circle.

It is a very popular tourist route and that, leaving from Reykjavik, took us to visit five key points of the geography of Iceland. Do not think that things are close as the tour ends up taking you about 350 km from the capital. But it's worth it, I think.

The first thing that draws the attention of the incredible scenery of Iceland is the absence of trees. If it were not for the Icelandic children to instill the love of nature from the very small and the need to repopulate the island you would not see any.

And it is that hundreds of years ago many eruptions, hard winters, and successive fires managed to finish what had been a lush forest.

To this day the trees that exist have been planted by the Icelandic ones themselves. The good thing about it? They've been doing this a lot of years so little by little they're getting their goal.
