No matter how hard you try, you can't turn unwanted diversity characters into stars just by pushing harder.
There’s a story about porgs in this one! And it was written by Delilah Dawson who is one of my favorite Star Wars writers. There’s also a story where Leia dresses almost like her mother while on a mission and it’s feels especially because she’s just constantly saying Luke who is just being Luke. Definitely a series that’s aimed for kids, but hoping tot see more extended universe authors show up in these comics.
Some good stories. I really liked Leia's costume in this one. The Porg's are cute too.
The stories and art were pretty hit or miss in this one.
Another cute collection of nonessential shorts. Written for kids but fun for adults alike.
5 starsFor the Star Wars fan that loves to laugh! 😄
Nothing mind-blowing here, but solidly fun and entertaining star wars stories for fans of all ages.Edit: Grr. So I read this one already, too. Guess I didn't pay too much attention, haha. The wookiee babysitting story is the best one here. The art is mostly cartoony, but a lot of it is quite good.

In this second volume of Star Wars comics aimed at an all-ages audience, we get another collection of self-contained stories that focus on character, charm and humor as much as they do on action. This time around, the spotlight is on Finn (or FN-2187, as he is still a stormtrooper here) and Leia, with appearances by Kylo Ren, Phasma, and Luke. It's nice to see Leia getting a chance to prove that she is as heroic as her male counterparts, who have had many, many more stories told about them. And,...
Another cute collection of stories from the galaxy far far away.I particularly enjoyed the tale of K2 babysitting Wookiees.
Some of these stories were a fun addition to canon, while others were on the cheezy side, but these were made for kids. I have been thoroughly entertained by these. I would have loved them as a kid.
I would rate this volume slightly ahead of the first collection. The Finn story that opens it is just silly, although it does reflect his character well (even if the art doesn't do him justice). The main story gives Leia multiple chances to show off what makes her character work, from political discourse to action. Its disposal of a couple of characters early on seems a bit brutal for a comic aimed at kids, but that's a minor complaint. There's a 'Tales from Wild Space' story featuring K2 (and w...
This is real mixed bag of a comic. I have one question though, why does Disney hate Luke? So far he has had an OK book, which he was hardly in (most of the stories were people talking about him, though the book fitted in perfectly for the Last), in the movie (apart from the end) he was shown as a failed teacher and Jedi, and sad old man. Now in the main story (which was pretty good and the best of the bunch), Leia comes off great/awesome, Luke is an extra at best and a damsel in distress as wors...
A fun short comic clearly designed for children
Fun, short, one-shot all-ages comics. I don't consider them canon, personally; some of the plots stretch believability for me, but they're still fun little romps. Really loved the Cassian and Kaytoo story, written by Alan Tudyk himself!
OK. I was about to give it a 2-star rating, but then it hit me hard with Porgs so I had to add another star.
I really like the K-2SO story.
This series is as fluffy as Star Wars gets--and few of the other graphic novel series are all that substantial, either. I do like the art style, and I like the idea of shorter, lighter stories from the SW galaxy. But this set of stories wasn't very interesting to me.The best is a story about K-2SO, the best droid in any of the movies. The dialogue was written by Alan Tudyk, who plays K2 in Rogue One, and it all sounds exactly like the character from the movie. The story itself is silly, but it w...
very nice book
Good.Nice introduction for kids to Star Wars, or something more if they enjoy the films. I think hardcore fans might have fun with this. Nice artwork.
