Almost FREE! Here’s a blast from the past - something I decided to resurrect from my archives. My first thought was to offer my VapoKarb manual for FREE, but then I decided it has to be worth at least 99-cents, especially for some “Old-Timers” out there. If you still have an ancient carbureted car or truck, and are looking to save gas and boost performance - or are simply curious, my VapoKarb manual is just what you’re looking for.I designed the VapoKarb back in the late 1980’s in response to the Allan Wallace book “Secrets of the 200 MPG Carburetor.” His book was always priced at 10 bucks, and sold like crazy for at least 5 years. (I still see occasional ads for it on Amazon The so-called “200 MPG Carburetor” was designed by Charles Nelson Pogue, way back in the 1930‘s. The design is real . Pogue was a real person . But, everything else about the “Carb” and Pogue himself is mostly B.S. .“Snopes” even published a “debunking” article about Pogue and his “Wonder Car.” At any rate……… back to VapoKarb history. Two friends, machinists at a high-tech company here , had Wallace’s book and were trying to build their own “Pogue Carb.” Unfortunately, the thing was extremely complicated - and critical details and dimensions were missing from the patent drawings. So, my friends eventually abandoned their project. That’s when I decided to design my VapoKarb. To achieve super-high MPG’s, fuel has to be vaporized. Pogue’s vaporizing method was quite complicated and a major safety hazard. My VapoKarb design uses electrically heated wire grids for vaporization, and aerodynamically shaped and angled vanes to induce fuel “spiraling” .After lots of testing, tweaking, and re-designing I installed it on my “Gas-Guzzling” Mercury Monarch. At last…..I finally had my VapoKarb working just the way I wanted. My old Merc didn’t turn into a “200 MPG” wonder car and was no drag racer .So, for what it’s worth, here’s my VapoKarb manual. Just 99-cents - and I’ll do everything possible to hold that “Almost FREE” price!
