RecarpetingThis is such a hard review to write. I want to say it was lovely because the authors narrative style was beautiful, but it was also so sad I have tears and just want to hug her.
A great short readA beautifully written short about one of the hardest things for any young woman to walk through. I will be reading more of Carby's works in the future!
Real life Wow. Recarpeting is a beautifully devastating look into the authors heartbreak of loosing her mom. It takes you through finding her mom and into the healing process. This story had me in tears throughout the entire thing. I’m really glad that it wasn’t any longer because I honestly don’t know that I could have emotionally handled it. Not only did it make me want to hug the author but it makes me want to go wake my mom up hug her and let her know how much she means to me. The author too...
Real stuff here...Hard to read but enjoyed the journey. Appreciated the real story and no sugar coating. Recommend to anyone looking for a story about loss. Will read more from this author.

Loss of MomReading this story took me back to 2005 when I lost my Mom. As motherless daughter its never easy. I felt Tiffany's pain and the loneliness she suddenly felt. The silence is eerie and can be very dark. I love this story! It was definitely written from the heart and with love.
Tiffany Carby blew me away with this quick peek into her life! This short memoir was raw and honest. Mrs. Carby let us into her life and see her heart. I highly recommend this story...memory. You will get lost in this snapshot of time!
