PLAY A DANGEROUS GAME.
Even in modern times, Barrow Lea still retained its medieval appearance and somewhat passive lifestyle. Steeped in the sleepy village atmosphere, the people had no idea that their peaceful lives were about to be shaken to its roots when a deranged killer stalks and kills a young girl in the woods of Barrow Lea. But the man had chosen the wrong place to satisfy his lust this time when he realizes his actions were witnessed by two innocent children who weren’t even there and didn’t even know they had witnessed anything. The killer unfortunately discovers the truth about the children and soon realizes they are a real threat to his freedom and plans to silence the little boy and his sister…, permanently.
The children, who were tragically orphaned at an early age, became highly psychic as a result of a bazaar accident. Their psychic abilities are a mystery and a terror to them until their kind and loving foster parents introduce them to a successful Spiritual Medium who soon realizes that the children are more than just psychic but are Mediums of exceptionally rare quality.
Shortly after the children arrive at their new foster home, the little boy is terrorized by hideous spectres of the night. The pitiful spirit of the sixteen year old girl, who had been brutally murdered by the manic killer in the woods not far from their farmhouse home, torments the little boy during the daytime as well as in his dreams. She needs to make him understand that he is the only one who can help bring her killer to justice before he kills again.
A chance meeting with the girl on the Astral Plane wins the boy's confidence and he soon becomes her friend and agrees to help her. But can he convince the Detective Inspector in charge of the case that the man he is after is someone he knows? Nobody believes the little boy's story but he must, somehow, convince the Detective before the killer finds out about the little boy and his sisters' psychic ability and their knowledge of who he is.
