I've been reading this series the past week, and I finally have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait to read more. Love the development and progression of the IMIS system and the communication between the humans and the lovely dolphins (Sally and Dirk) and Dulce the young orangutan. The animals in this story are absolutely delightful though I am waiting for Dexter the capuchin to come into his own and start communicating with humans as well. Am enjoying all the characters Micha...
Wonderful characters, action and storyline Looking forward to the 5th book in the series
Michael C. Grumley returns to further explore the evolution of mammals, as well as their interconnectivity in this stunning series. Pushing a little science fiction alongside his captivating narrative, Grumley takes the reader on a deeper and more intense journey with each new novel in the collection. The action is intense, as the Russians are now eager to get their hands on whatever is rocking the genetic world, while the Chinese remain on guard and want what they felt was theirs all along. Whi...
I've really been enjoying this series. This fourth book in, I feel quite a connection to the characters and the situations. As I've read the books, the author has an interesting way of writing. Very jumpy. Sometimes the paragraphs are broken up with *** even though the next paragraph is still a continuation of what had just happened, and other times it was a complete switch in storylines. That felt a little inconsistent to me (maybe just a space between paragraphs when continuing on with the sam...
"If there was one thing Clay and Caesare had learned from previous missions, it was that when things seemed to be going well…that was just about the time the bottom usually fell out."Of course things are going to get messy, but we have faith the good guys will pull through! If you are a fan of Michael C. Grumley's work, then you can't resist reading the next in the The Breakthrough Series, Ripple. You, just like me, simply have to know what heart-stopping action and scientific discoveries await o...
I just finished Ripple, it's the fourth book in the series that begins with "Breakthrough," by Michael C. Grumley. This is one of, if not the best series I have ever read. And I've read a lot of them over the years... Mr. Grumley is a fantastic story teller. More than that, he writes with such intensity, I was unable to put this series (4 books) down until I finished each one. They are all that good. His stories cover so many areas of science that have never been covered before, as far as I know...
Another great read!I continue to enjoy this series and my only disappointment is I have to wait for the next installment! The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is I felt this didn't quite have the strong action aspects the first 3 had and was wanting a bit more about what was in the ship incased in the coral. Looks like that will happen in the next book. So get to work Michael! Love the books! :-)
I hate to see them go!I wish there was another book to read! Grumley is such a fantastic author, I find myself so immersed in each book that I can't, or don't want to, get out!
Ripple (Breakthrough Book 4)Allison and the gang find the answers to all the question about the new bacteria that changes DNA. The Chinese s, Russen, and American fight over the control of the discover. Great fight scenes.
