Kate Taylor, sweet, smart, shy and very single, is having a rough semester. With her grad school English Lit program kicking her butt, she ought to be looking forward to the holiday break, but Christmas just isn't the same when your divorced parents have found other people.

When her best friend Blake invites her to join the gang for a Christmas ski weekend in Vermont, he promises it will be just the kind of release that she needs. Kate finds herself tempted by the vacation offer. The problem is, Kate finds Blake tempting, too. Way too tempting.
