While compiling the extensive series, “Free Books for a Quick Download” it became evident that very few free books were available on Amazon on the Second World War. Yet the war was one of the most important and pivotal period in human history, a period which needs to be studied so as to appreciate the sacrifices of the countless many who gave their lives or that suffered greatly as a result of that calamitous time.
Given the gigantic need to never forget, I decided to explore Amazon for books about WWII that were relevant--and affordable. The result is this low-cost collection of over 150 books about various aspects of the war. The cost of each of each the books listed in this work is about $1.00 or less.
